COREY MICHAEL

After Playing music with several different bands throughout the years. Corey Michael decided to branch out on his own and start the Corey Michael band project. Already doing several solo shows around Conroe, he came across a bass player named Kerry Bankhead and talked to him about being the bass player for the band and he gladly came along. His longtime best friend of 20 years, William Hilton, used to play drums for Corey in Austin Texas and east Texas was glad to join and play drums. They had trouble finding the right lead guitarist for the project, hired a couple of guys that didn't work out, but finally run across the perfect fit with Lance Gramillian at the helm of his powerful country guitar. All together, we bring a nonstop roller coaster ride of country, southern rock, Texas blues, Pop and a bunch of surprises along the way.Corey Michael hails from Conroe Texas but was born and raised in Livingston, Graduating high school and moving to Austin where he played lots of venues and was on the KVET KASE country Christmas album but never could get his foothold in the Texas country music scene. So he moved to New Orleans two months after Katrina hit and played on Bourbon street for 5 nights a week for 6 years. He decided that wasn't were his heart was and came back home to Texas. Now you can catch Corey Michael rocking a unique and powerful style of Country Music all over Houston, Conroe, Livingston, and Onalaska. They all have one philosophy, "Have Guitar Will Travel". One listen to this unique, one of a kind band and you will be hooked for sure.
